Most charity organisations relay on donations to be able to do the vital work they do within their communities, and many have been greatly impacted by the rising cost of living. Through the grant schemes The Foundation hopes to provide some financial help to organisations that are doing so much for people in need.
Since The Foundation’s inception, over £950,000 has been donated to worthy causes both in the UK and internationally. The Foundation hopes to continue building on this success, with the goal of raising £1,000,000 during 2024, the tenth anniversary of the organisation.
Laura Warner from Crisis Skylight Newcastle says; “Crisis Skylight Newcastle relies on the support of our local community to be able to continue to help those in our Region who are experiencing homelessness. We are incredibly grateful for the support of the Fine & Country Foundation and look forward to working with them further.”
The Foundation will continue to raise money to be able to build up the funding pot to support charities and organisations in their fight against homelessness and poverty. “The more money The Foundation is able to raise, the more charities it will be able to support, and the more lives will be impacted in a positive way,” Sophie Luhr concludes.
