St Mary’s University, London, is set to open a pioneering School of Medicine in September 2026. The General Medical Council (GMC) has rigorously assessed and confirmed St Mary’s progress in planning and developing the programme. The university is on track to welcome its inaugural cohort in 2026. Medical students will be based in the university’s new Centenary Building in Twickenham, which boasts state-of-the-art digital and simulation facilities. From their first year, students will engage in community placements, blending on-campus learning with real-world experience.
The curriculum is designed to immerse students in both academic and practical learning from the outset. By integrating care and service into their education, students will be at the heart of their learning journey and local communities.
