An accountant by profession, after completion of articles of clerkship I spent the early part of my career as firstly a financial manager and then the financial director of a prominent South African real estate company. This property background led to an approach by a South African Corporate Bank where I initially took responsibility for the credit aspects of a corporate property portfolio before moving across to other areas of corporate credit.
Not satisfied with only having local experience I entered the global debt capital markets where I worked as the MD and Regional Head for the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa for an international credit rating agency.
Returning to South Africa in 2011, I continued to work within the finance environment before deciding to return to that industry where I first entered the corporate environment. As the owner of Fine & Country Hermanus, Arabella and Hangklip-Kleinmond, I bring not only the required skills of professional negotiation but also a proven ability to operate at an executive stakeholder level.
My excellent interpersonal and communication skills, together with an obvious passion for property assist to ensure that the process of sale and purchase of any residential home is as seamless as possible, with the emphasis being on reducing the level of stress that is normally experienced by either buyer or seller.
I take ownership of every property transaction that I or any of my agents are involved in, ensuring that the road to the transfer of ownership is as smooth as possible.
