After twenty years working in the City as a stockbroker I moved from London to Fakenham with my husband and two boys in 2007. With the boys happily ensconced at Greshams School and my husband avidly writing books I realised that keeping chickens, walking the dog and running in the pinewoods wasn’t fulfilling enough.
An opportunity arose to become a junior negotiator (at 51!) for a leading corporate estate agency. Two years later the move to a brand new Fine & Country office in Fakenham beckoned just down the road from where I lived in Fakenham.
Moving from London to living and working in Fakenham has given me a clear insight to the joys and hurdles of making that transition and all it entails. I have a genuine understanding of why it was possibly the best decision I made for my whole family and where the best villages and towns are for all aspects of family, school and social life. My knowledge and love of the area are insurmountable and with this I have built a thriving and highly respected business selling properties with the team throughout north Norfolk.
