It’s been a long and winding journey into estate agency for me but my passion for property, a love of meeting people, going above and beyond to provide a great service and of course, a natural compulsion for doing deals have always been constants.
After a reasonably successful career in media we decided to up sticks to the Westcountry to convert an old farm into a collection of holiday lets which largely ran themselves, following me to cut my teeth as an estate agent establishing a portfolio of prime properties for a local agent on the Dorset, Somerset, Devon borders.
Home had however always been the villages of Elmbridge and after 5 years we settled back into the familiar environs of Esher in 2024 where I swapped my brogues for loafers and joined the Cobham office of Curchods.
Although fun, this experience confirmed to me that the grand homes of Surrey, and their owners, deserved a service not always available on the high street. The prospect of joining the Fine & Country team was therefore compelling. The combination of great people with strong values and unwavering principles coupled with exceptional marketing and an omni-channel approach to maximise exposure matched my beliefs in how exceptional properties should be presented and how their owners, each unique, should be treated.
Fine & Country’s reputation for providing exemplary service and a bespoke, tailored approach was a massive draw and I leapt at the opportunity to join the Surrey team looking after the Esher, Claygate, Thames Ditton and Surbiton area, what’s felt like a true homecoming, both geographically and emotionally.
