History of The Old Power Station
This building comprises a key element in the development of this uniquely well-preserved and historically important site. It is a well-preserved example of a building of considerable architectural character.
The building was originally built by the Ministry of Defence for the RAF in the early 1930's as a power station for the base. It was converted and restored by city and country in 2015 to form part of The Garden Quarter.
