Beverley
The town of Beverley has been named as one of the best places to live in the UK, appearing in the Sunday Times - 2020 Best Places to Live, in the North and East of England.
This historic town dates back as far as the 8th century. The town centre is steeped in history, with its cobbled streets and imposing Beverley Minster.
Beverley boasts one of the county's top racecourses. The course is over 300 years old and today, the racecourse hosts flat racing from April until September, which attracts thousands of racegoers and visitors from across the country.
The town holds a twice-weekly market, with food stalls and handcrafted goods.
Directly opposite the Minster, the Beverley Arms Hotel has seen a recent full refurbishment and is popular with the locals. Set in the glorious surroundings of the Dalton Estate, The Pipe and Glass pub and restaurant has gained an international reputation, including a Michelin Star.
Beverley has a number of boutiques along with the Flemingate Shopping Centre.

North Lincolnshire
The iconic Humber Bridge links the north and south banks of the Humber. The south bank often invites people looking for a more rural lifestyle, with opportunities to purchase properties with land or equestrian facilities, and the villages of Barton, Goxhill and Barrow remain very popular with our buyers.
Points of interest include Elsham Hall which is a 17th-century English country house situated in its own parkland in Elsham. The park and gardens are open to the public.
In a superb natural setting, where the river Trent and Ouse join to form the Humber, Alkborough Flats is the perfect area for bird watching and leisurely walks with views of the Humber, perfect for wildlife lovers. Donna Nook Nature Reserve covers more than 10km of coastline. Every November and December, grey seals come to the Donna Nook to give birth to their pups near the sand dunes; a wildlife spectacle that attracts visitors from across the UK.
People travel miles from around to visit Wintering Fields, a Michelin Star fine dining experience with a restaurant and accommodation. Whether it’s leaping fresh from the sea, or reared on the fields of local farmers, the food is rooted in local nature. For something more informal, there are many village pubs to choose from. Hope and Anchor in South Ferriby offers a very popular Sunday lunch menu, so booking is advised! North Lincolnshire is the quieter neighbour to East Yorkshire but has many hidden gems and is well worth a visit.
